IUS Days

IUS Days is an introductory course with supervised hands-on scanning, directed by Mostafa Ibrahim. Six lectures in the morning, four hours on the probe in the afternoon with IBUS faculty.

The morning covers evidence, equipment, anatomy, pathology, differential diagnosis and follow-up. In the afternoon, trainees scan at supervised stations with healthy volunteers and with IBD patient volunteers.

IUS Days 2026 ran in Athens on 29 October, alongside EUS Confluence Days. EACCME accreditation was applied for.
