Programs and techniques
During our workshops, physicians have the opportunity to perform the latest diagnostic and therapeutic GI endoscopy techniques of varying difficulty. Each program below is taught on simulators with expert trainers.
Basic techniques
Techniques covered at this level: Diagnostic Colonoscopy and AI Polyp Detection, Ultrasound-Guided Liver Biopsy, Diagnostic upper endoscopy, Diagnostic Colonoscopy, Capsule Endoscopy, Double balloon Enteroscopy, Diagnostic Abdominal ultrasound, Fibroscan.

Diagnostic Upper Endoscopy
Practice proper endoscope handling and navigation. Identify and characterize common upper GI pathologies.
Diagnostic Abdominal Ultrasound & FibroScan
Understand normal abdominal ultrasound anatomy and pathologic findings. Evaluate for inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's, ulcerative colitis) complications.
Double Balloon Enteroscopy
Interventional techniques
Techniques covered at this level: EMR, GI stenting, Polypectomy, PEG (feeding Gastrostomy), Closure of perforation, Intragastric balloon, Foreign Body Removal, Hemostasis, ERCP, EUS FNB, ESD, POEM.

Polypectomy
Indications, risks, alternatives, patient assessment. Selection.
Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR)
Identify appropriate lesions for EMR. Differentiate between EMR and ESD.
Ulcer Bleeding Control
Identify and characterize ulcer bleeding sources. Apply various hemostatic techniques (injection, clips, etc.).
Variceal Bleeding Management
Gastric Sclerotherapy Injection. Band Ligation.
Foreign Body Removal
Identify and characterize different foreign body types. Practice safe retrieval techniques using various devices.
Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG)
Understand indications and patient selection criteria for PEG placement. Practice proper PEG tube sizing, insertion, and maturation techniques.
Esophageal and Duodenal Stenting
Understand indications for stent placement. Practice proper stent sizing and deployment.
Colonic Stenting
Understand indications for colonic stent placement. Practice proper stent sizing and deployment.
Endoscopic Management of Perforation
Using Over the scope clip (OTSC). Using Endoscopic suturing devices.
Management of Perforation Using OTSC
Understand indications for OTSC use. Practice proper OTSC deployment technique.
Internal Hemorrhoids Band Ligation
Identify and grade internal hemorrhoid. Practice proper banding technique.
Intragastric Balloon Insertion
Understand patient selection criteria and pre-procedure requirements. Practice proper balloon sizing, insertion, and removal techniques.
ERCP Simulators
Practice Proper Positioning. Practice biliary cannulation and stenting techniques.
Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD)
Understand indications and patient selection. Perform various submucosal injection and dissection technique.
Advanced interventional techniques
Techniques covered at this level: POEM and Gastric-POEM (Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy), EUS-DFI (Endoscopic Ultrasound-Doppler Flow Imaging), EUS-Guided Coiling for Gastric Varices, ESG (Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty), TORe (Transoral Outlet Reduction), ERCP and Cholangioscopy, EUS Cyst Gastrostomy, EUS CYST drainage, EUS RFA.

Cholangioscopy
Stone Management. Tissue Acquisition.
Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy (POEM)
Understand the procedure for achalasia management. Practice submucosal tunneling and myotomy technique.

EUS-Guided Biliary Drainage

Endoscopic Sutured Gastroplasty
Primary ESG. Revision ESG (Redo procedure).
After the course
