GERD Days
Bridging the gaps for better patient outcome
A yearly meeting of state-of-the-art lectures and hands-on training on simulators, held in a different city each year. The latest edition on record is the 8th, in 2020.
GERD Days was a comprehensive educational event with the participation of a faculty of international and national speakers, showcasing the state of the art of endoscopic techniques. The meeting took place each year in a different city.
The course included hands-on training permitting maximal interaction between faculty and attendees, evidence-based didactic comments summarizing the most recent publications, question-and-answer sessions and a tips-and-tricks lecture track.
The 8th GERD Days, on 6–7 November 2020 at the Rixos Bab Al Bahr in Ras Al Khaimah, consisted of two full days of state-of-the-art lectures in parallel with hands-on training on simulators. It was intended for general practitioners, internal medicine doctors, orthopedists and gastroenterologists with varying levels of training and experience, and was accredited with 11 hours of EACCME credits.
